NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC PHOTOS OF MACHU PICCHU
Visit "Machu Picchu: A Lost City Uncovered: The Expeditions of Hiram Bingham, 1911-1915"
In April 1913, National Geographic devoted the entire issue of its journal to Bingham’s work in Peru,
publishing hundreds of his photographs and bringing Machu Picchu to the attention of the world.
Middfest is honored to be selected as the only other city besides DC to present this series of Panoramic
black and white photographs by Bingham. See firsthand how Bingham came to find this now UNESCO
world heritage site, and bring it to the attention of the world.
